If you want to set food across the Arctic Circle then this tour is something for you.
More than 40 km north of the mainland lays the island of Grímsey, 5.3 km 2 in area, green and grassy on the top, but its side´s mainly sheer cliff faces. Its north part is crossed by the Arctic Circle, the only point of Iceland that lies in the Arctic. You will get a certificate to prove at home that you crossed the Arctic Circle at the end of the tour.
